tweaked this a little and regularly win chili contests with it! tweak it by adding 2T dark brown sugar, 1/2 T baking cocoa and cayenne to taste (1/4 -1/2t.)Â

This is simple and delicious. I buy ground turkey on sale and always have several pkgs of it in the freezer. I double the spices and the beans, and use crushed garlic cloves instead of powder, but left out the salt.Â

Very good. But, I did double all of the spices and it still could've used more, but this recipe is a great base. It was easy. I also doubled the beans and that came out well.Â

This was great chili and you truly can't tell it is ground turkey! I did add approximately 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper as well as a little bit of additional cumin and chili powder. Would make this again for sure. Thanks for sharing!Â

Terrific recipe! I used diced tomatoes with green peppers and fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. The blend of spices is perfect and this has a wonderful, rich texture. Even better the next day! Served with crackers & shredded cheese, yum!Â

added 2 T. dark brown sugar, 1/2 T. baking cocoa, and 1/8-1/4 t. cayenne pepperÂ

I bought a very cheap roast and stabbed it all over with a fork (just to make sure that it was dead).Â
-
I didn't have tomato paste. Used 1 can fire roasted, 1 Rotel, and some marinara sauce, 2 cans beans. Doubled spices and added some dark chocolate and adobo pepper. Yummy!Â
-
I used fire roasted tomatoes since the stewed had calcium chloride and put it in processor as we don't like cooked chunky tomatoes. I also replaced the water with bone broth. It was "delicious", my hubby said.Â

Fresh garlic instead of garlic powder Diced tomatoes instead of stewed tomatoes I doubled all of the spices except for the chili powderÂ
